How to use AI for social video: one raw recording, a week of posts

How do you edit social videos with AI?

Here is the process I teach, and the one built into the tools I’ve made for my members:

1. Record one raw talking-head video. No editing while you film, just say the thing.
2. Type “edit today’s video.” My Claude video editor takes the raw recording and gives you back a finished, captioned video ready to post.
3. Review it in one place. In the editing dashboard, you can give notes or edit the transcript directly, apply your visual style, and choose thumbnails.
4. Turn the approved video into everything else. Trial reels, carousels, photo posts, text-over-b-roll posts, and Manychat emails (the comment-to-email flow that turns attention into a list you own).

Why make one video into so many formats?

When the goal is reaching new people, you have to make more, test more, and learn faster, and that used to take a whole team. Every platform now matches posts with people who don’t follow you, so more formats means more chances to be matched with the right person. Your job is to test, learn, and double down on what’s winning, and the AI does the production work.

The math on this is simple. One day of shooting becomes 48 posts, because every video turns into a carousel, a photo post, and a text-over-b-roll post.
